Frontend Engineer (PHP/Vue.js)

Hi 👋, we are Revendo a Swiss company based in the city of Basel. Founded by two school friends in 2013 with one vision: Every used product deserves at least a second chance! Our concept is based on the circular economy and aims to reuse used products.

We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to join our team in Split, which will take care of the development and operation of all Revendo software systems. Your main focus will be on the development of user interfaces for our own software products.

What you do with us:

• Implementing and optimizing user interfaces for our online store, based on the e-Commerce platform Shopware 6 (Symfony PHP framework, Twig, JS, SCSS/Sass)
• Maintenance of existing PHP web applications

• Work on the frontend of our internal business system based on Vue.js

• Continuous improvement of own code, for example with automated tests

• 3rd level support for own software products

What you bring:

• Several years of experience in web development with PHP, Twig, JavaScript ES6
• You are familiar with current JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing)
• Experience with Git version control and standard DevOps practices.
• You pick up new technologies quickly and efficiently.
• You can ease yourself into an existing codebase instead of having to always rewrite everything immediately.
• You have a high degree of personal responsibility

Ideally, you also have

• Experience with Shopware 6, Symfony
• Experience with JQuery, Bootstrap, Tailwind or similar
• Fluent in German (speaking, reading and writing)
• Experience in the development of e-commerce stores or business systems
